Dr Roy graduated with Honours from Western Sydney University in 2011. She completed respiratory and sleep training at Westmead and Blacktown hospitals in Sydney, where she developed an interest in pleural medicine. To further pursue her passion, she moved to WA and is currently working as the clinical fellow in the Pleural Medicine Unit. Her research interests include thoracic and pleural malignancies and improving the experiences of patients with malignant pleural effusions.
