Sophie Krivinskas is from the UK and graduated from Nottingham University in 2007.  She undertook Higher Specialist Training Scheme in Respiratory and General Internal Medicine with the Royal College of Physicians in Kent, Surrey and Sussex.  She developed an interest in Pleural Disease, and particularly pleural infection during time spent working in Africa.  To further pursue her passion, she moved to WA and is currently working as the clinical fellow in the Pleural Medicine Unit.
