Emily Jeffery MDiet (Curtin)

Emily Jeffery is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with an interest in the nutritional management of people with cancer. She completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Dietetics at Curtin University in 2006 and joined the Nutrition and Diet Therapy Department at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in 2008. In 2010, Emily completed a Master of Dietetics with research into the nutritional status of head and neck cancer patients undergoing radiotherapy. She has also taught in the dietetics program at Curtin University and has experience in the clinical supervision of dietetics students.

Currently Emily is enrolled in a PhD and has been awarded an Edith Cowan University and Australian Lung Foundation/Bantoft Family Bequest scholarship. Her research will focus on the nutritional status, body composition, dietary intake and physical activity levels of people with malignant pleural mesothelioma.
