Dr Lihini Basnayake (MBBS)

Pleural Fellow (2022 -)

Lihini graduated from University of Peradeniya in Sri Lanka in 2012. She then went on to enrol in postgraduate studies in General Medicine and graduated with a MD in Medicine from University of Colombo, Sri Lanka in 2018. She then went on to complete her local training in Respiratory Medicine. Lihini is currently on a Sri Lankan government-funded scholarship for a clinical fellowship position in the Pleural Medicine Unit with Prof Lee for a year.
