Dr Sam Faber (MBBS)

Pleural Fellow (2022 -)

Sam graduated from University College London Medical School in 2009. He is now a Senior Respiratory Registrar approaching the end of Specialist Training in the North-Central East London Deanery and is a member of the Royal College of Physicians. Sam has a separate interest in humanitarian work and has spent part of his career working as a physician for Médecins-Sans-Frontières. It was whilst working on TB programmes in Kenyan slums that he developed his interest in Pleural disease. He is very excited to join the Pleural Medicine Unit at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and hopes to learn how to develop specialist pleural services when he returns to hospitals in the UK.
