Natalia Popowicz is a clinical pharmacist with a strong interest in respiratory medicine. She completed undergraduate studies with first class honours in 2005 with research in malignant mesothelioma and its in vitro mechanisms of resistance to chemotherapy. She has worked in the area of respiratory medicine at Sir Charles Gairdner hospital over the past 7 years and in 2013 completed her postgraduate diploma in pharmacy at Curtin University with high distinction.

Natalia is actively involved in teaching postgraduate pharmacy students in her role as a sessional academic at Curtin University. She has been awarded a PhD from University of Western Australia (2020) supported by Australian Postgraduate and Lung Institute of WA top-up scholarships. Her area of research will focus on novel pharmacotherapy approaches for pleural infection.
